Third Thursday Volunteer Workday - July

Day: Thursday, July 16th
Time: 9 AM–noon AND 5:30–8:30 PM
Location: Point Mills Nature Area (meet at the intersection of Upper Point Mills Rd. and Point Mills Estate Rd. trailhead parking area)

Join the KLT stewardship team to help out and learn about important habitat improvement work at Point Mills Nature Area. 

During this workday, you will be helping plant pockets of native plants, set up a new picnic area, and create brush piles for wildlife habitat.

Directions (from Dollar Bay):

  1. Turn onto Main St
  2. Turn left onto Ave H/Hellman Ave
  3. Continue onto Point Mills Rd
  4. Turn right onto Lower Point Mills
  5. Go through the town of Pt Mills, then turn right onto Point Mills Estate Road.
  6. About 1/4 of a mile down Point Mills Estate Road, you will see the KLT nature area sign. Follow our KLT event signs to find our stewardship team.
