Some of the Keweenaw Land Trust's protected lands include reservable structures, from small rustic cabins to retreat centers. Have a remote getaway or stage for your next adventure in at a Keweenaw Land Trust site.
Most locations do not have internet, cell service, or indoor plumbing. Staff do not clean the rustic cabin between uses. Cleaning is the responsibility of each user.
Reservations are made possible by free-will, after-use donations.
Marsin
Marsin Nature Retreat, located near Oskar Bay, features a retreat center and a small rustic cottage. The retreat is a welcome place for organizations, groups, families, and individuals in search of a place to gather and enjoy the environment around us along with all the basic amenities. Internet and cell service is spotty at Marsin.
Din Egen
Din Egen Woods, located south of Dollar Bay along Upper Point Mills Road, features quaint little cabin. The nature area is home to extensive wooded wetlands with dark hemlock and mixed hardwoods for public enjoyment.
Lightfoot Bay Cooperative Coastal Wetlands Nature Area
The Lightfoot Bay Nature Area, located on Huron Bay in northern Baraga County, features features two remote rustic log cabins. The project was developed to protect unique Great Lakes coastal wetland and shoreline habitats that contribute to the overall health of Huron Bay and its diverse fishery.
Point of View
Point of view, located on the shores of Lake Superior located off of Point Abbaye Road north of L'Anse, features a cabin. Dramatic rock ledges, low bluffs, and coastal wetlands are showcased on this unique property with 1,800 feet of Lake Superior shoreline along Keweenaw Bay.
