Nature is always open for business

We are hosting small group activities many of which require a registration form (or call our office) so we know the number of attendees. We encourage unvaccinated people to continue to mask for these group events. We urge you and your loved ones to spend time outdoors and take advantage of the solace that nature can provide. Look for self-guided story trails and activities as well as the small group activities on our events page. While vaccines offer hope, we cannot predict with any certainty when this pandemic will lose its grip on our planet.  While nature is always open to help us recharge, we are not ready to open our facilities for the typical use by donation and instead will continue to use this down time to work on improvement projects on structures.  Let's keep our entire community as safe as we can!

Protecting the places you love

The Keweenaw Land Trust has protected more than 7,000 acres across the Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula. We invite you to get outside and explore these very special places!

We encourage you to always practice Leave No Trace ethics when in the outdoors, especially when visiting our nature areas. Please be respectful of these lands that have been conserved for everyone to enjoy.
