
Mare Grohowski
Mariana (Mare) Grohowski is an outdoor enthusiast and year-round trail/snowshoe runner who made the upper peninsula her home in 2018 (previously living in the area from 2008–2011). Employed in higher education for the last 15 years, Grohowski teaches online and is the founder/editor in chief of a scholarly journal and founder and past president of a nonprofit organization. She has held positions on other nonprofit boards and has experience in marketing, communication, education, advocacy/activism, social justice, and the trails of the Copper Country, all of which make her a vital asset to the KLT Board.
