Kaitlin Lapka
Kaitlin is a lawyer, conservationist, and longtime advocate for local communities. She has worked professionally across the state and country in roles within the legal, environmental, community and economic development, marketing/PR, and non-profit arts sectors. A former policy and legal research fellow for The Nature Conservancy in Michigan, she also has direct experience supporting landscape-scale and community-led conservation efforts in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Kaitlin holds a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She lives in Quincy Township, MI with her husband, Hayden (who she visited her first KLT property with more than a decade ago!), and enjoys skiing, biking, volunteering, traveling, and many creative projects.
