A coalition of local organizations have come together to bring you Spring – On the Wing! This mini-festival, in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, supports the City of Houghton's efforts to become a Bird City.

7:00–9:00 am
Early bird walk (Nara Nature Boardwalk)
9:30–11:00 am
Bird Banding Experience (location TBD)
11:00 am–2:00 pm
“Stopover” Community Space opens (Huron Street Waterfront Park)
Bird City information table (Visit Keweenaw)
Local conservation organizations (e.g., CCBC, KLT, KBREC, etc…)
“Try binoculars / spotting scope” station
Kids’ bird activity table
3:00–4:00 pm
Public talk/featured program about birds (Portage Lake District Library)
