Join The Hancock Trails Club and Keweenaw Land Trust for a unique guided snowshoe through approximately 3 miles of untouched wilderness in the heart of Churning Rapids. We’ll venture off-trail into an area affectionately known as “The Donut Hole”—a hidden gem for winter explorers.
Where: Meet at the Hancock Four Seasons Chalet (by the dog park). We’ll carpool from there to High Point Road.
This guided snowshoe will feature two groups traversing moderate difficulty terrain with a slight uphill, but mostly gentle grades.
Slow loop: A shorter, relaxed route
Adventure loop: A longer, faster paced loop

Warm clothing
Snowshoes
Water and snacks
Hok skis are welcome!
