Oct. 2007 - TalviTohinat Annual Winter Event

 Join us for an afternoon of winter fun on the Keweenaw's incomaprable ski trails. KLT is pleased to host our third annual TalviTohinat (Finnish for “a winter scramble”), a community event and KLT fundraiser. This event is run in cooperation with the Heikinpäivä Festival on January 19th, 2008, registration begins at 12:00 with the first race starting at 1:00.
The TalviTohinat features 10 km and 5 km competitive cross-country ski races, a 2.5 km youth race, and one of the only skijoring races in the UP – all held at the Michigan Tech Ski Trails.
Come out and enjoy, there's fun for everyone!
