Moss Maddness & KLT Book Club
September 14th at Marsin Nature Retreat The KLT Book Club will be meeting from 1-2pm followed by Moss Maddness featuring Janice Glime from 2-5pm
We've started a natural history book club, and we hope you'll join us when you can.

Our first book selection was Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter by Ben Goldfarb. We will temporarily skip the next book that that was chosen (The Hidden Life of Trees- we will read this in the fall) BECAUSE we have already set a date for Moss Madness with our local world reknown byrologist, Janice Glime.
So our next book selection will be Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

The book club will have its next meeting the Marsin Nature Retreat on Saturday, September 14th 1- 2pm Followed by Moss Madness from 2 - 5pm a moss-filled event starring the mosses of Marsin and Janice Glime and former students. Come for the book club, Moss Madness or both!

Come enjoy beverages and snacks and learn to I.D. some of the mosses that are all around us yet often go unnoticed, an Elfin world indeed!
